Welcome to Yata Photography! I'm Verity Yata and I’m glad you landed on my page. I am here to understand your photography needs, address any questions you may have, help you book, and create those beautiful images you’ve been dreaming of. 

Whether you’re looking to fill in some blank spaces on your walls with gorgeous photos of your family or just want to have images to remember a special moment in life, you’ve come to the right place. 

Photography is an art, an art that is unique to each and every photographer. My style is bright, colorful, and true to life and the images I create are perfect for creating wall art, profile photos, and printing for albums. I am here to create your stunning images. 

My Why and a Personal Note:

I picked up a camera in 2016 because I wanted to be able to take nice pictures of my own kids one day. I haven't had any kids yet so I take lots of pictures of my dog, the cute, fluffy Pomeranian you see above. She died in November of 2024, unfortunately, so she's no longer with me.

From the moment I began taking photos, I fell in love with it. It's such a magical art.

I decided to start Yata Photography in 2017. I went with my last name because it’s simple and easy to remember. It’s pronounced like “yada, yada, yada”. Besides photography, I love jiu-jitsu, motorcycles, mountain biking, puzzles, and herbal tea. I grew up in a small town and spent a lot of time outdoors so I don't mind getting dirty and climbing things to get the shots I want. 

I like being reachable, clear, and as helpful as I can. Every page of my website includes my phone number, email address, and location information in the footer. You’re welcome to call me which is usually the fastest way to reach me. If you prefer to communicate solely through text and email I can make that possible (introvert here as well!). I do my best to understand what you need and typically a quick, 10-minute phone call clears that up quite quickly!

**Vaccinations** I am fully up to date on all vaccinations and am fully vaccinated against COVID. Baby and child safety is my top priority and I stay fully up to date on all my vaccines.
