Clara's 3 Month Old Newborn Session - In-studio Suwanee, GA

Every once in a while, a session comes along that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. Clara’s three-month newborn-style session was one of those soft, dreamy, full of warmth, and overflowing with love from two incredibly devoted parents.

Clara came into the studio at just three months old, and even though she’s past the traditional newborn window, she absolutely rocked her session. Her parents wanted a Christmas-themed setup, and honestly… she could not have been more photogenic in her sweet holiday green outfit and tiny red bow. Those Christmas portraits are going to live on as some of my personal favorites of the season. There’s just something magical about capturing a baby experiencing their very first holidays.

Her mom and dad, Marquis and Callie, were such a joy to work with. Marquis Hardy, a talented local musician, brought the most tender energy into the studio. Watching him cradle Clara, kiss her tiny cheeks, and hold her close in those cozy parent shots was downright heart-melting. Callie’s gentle presence balanced everything perfectly with soft smiles, warm snuggles, and the kind of nurturing touch that shows up beautifully in every frame.

Once we finished the Christmas looks, they selected several other setups, and every single one was adorable. Clara wore the sweetest peach sweater with her name embroidered across the front paired with a flower crown and she looked like the tiniest winter princess. We also captured timeless neutral portraits, family moments that radiated connection, and a dreamy teddy-bear setup that fit her personality so well.

For a three-month-old, Clara gave us everything—smiles, eye contact, curiosity, and even a few of those calm, content expressions that photographers secretly hope for. Her parents flowed right along with her, creating such a peaceful environment that the whole session felt effortless.

I’m so grateful Clara’s family chose me to document this stage of her life. Newborn-style sessions at three months have a completely different feel—alert, expressive, beautifully interactive—and Clara proved just how special they can be.
