CURE Childhood Cancer Calendar with the Litas

This project was near and dear to my heart. I was asked by the leader of a local female biker gang, the Litas, to shoot a calendar for CURE Childhood Cancer. They work with the nonprofit organization to raise money for children with cancer. 

As a cancer survivor myself who absolutely loves working with kids, I jumped at the opportunity to work with the Litas on this project. This was a fun shoot in downtown Atlanta at Stats Brewpub where this colorful Atlanta mural covers the entire building and at the Outkast mural in Atlanta’s Little Five Points. 

These gorgeous women on their beautiful motorcycles were prepared with photos of the patients they were supporting. They used the photos to print a calendar and sold the calendar to raise money that they then donated back to CURE. 

Cancer is something no child should ever have to go through and I am proud of these women for putting in such a big effort to help these kids find a cure.
