Hattie's Cake Smash Session - Suwanee, GA

Oh my goodness, where does the time go? It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming tiny Hattie into the world with her newborn session, and now she's already ONE! To celebrate this incredible milestone, we had the absolute joy of capturing her first birthday session, and let me tell you, it was as sweet as can be!

We started our session outside with some lovely family photos. The sun was shining, and Hattie was all smiles, surrounded by her loving parents. We captured some truly heartwarming moments, full of giggles and snuggles. There’s something so special about those first family portraits as a new family of three, and seeing how much Hattie has grown in just a year is just incredible.

Then, it was time for the main event: the cake smash! Hattie's mom brought in the most adorable strawberry shortcake, and Hattie was ready to dive in. She approached her cake with a mix of curiosity and pure delight. There were tentative pokes, then full-on grabs, and soon, her little hands (and face!) were covered in whipped cream and strawberry goodness. Every smash, every sticky finger, and every wide-eyed bite was just precious. We were all laughing as she explored the deliciousness, making for some truly unforgettable photos.

After her sugary adventure, we did some milk bath photos and then we headed back outside for a few more family photos. With sticky fingers (and maybe a little frosting still on her cheek!), Hattie was still beaming. These post-smash photos are always so much fun, capturing the playful aftermath and more sweet interactions between the family.

It was such a joy to celebrate Hattie's first birthday with her and her wonderful parents. From the outdoor family moments to the wonderfully messy cake smash, every part of the session was filled with love and laughter. Happy first birthday, sweet Hattie!
