Ivanna's Cake Smash with Siblings and Family

Capturing this adorable chaos was a delight! Ivanna's mom chose the pink balloon setup for her one-year-old baby girl and brought the entire family to join in on the event which included Ivanna's 3 siblings and parents. When mom saw the setup as she walked in the studio, her first reaction was "Awwww!" 

Ivanna was unfazed by my peek-a-boo games, didn't seem to like bubbles, wasn't too excited about the tambourine, didn't seem to like any of the typical baby songs and only perked up when her mama told me to play a Spanish pop song, didn't like tickles, and wasn't excited about much at all. She made me work to get her to smile but somehow, I managed to get a couple of adorable smiles from her. 

She wasn't fond of the balloon basket or any of the setups, especially not the bath, so it was quite a miracle that I got her to smile in both setups. She adored the cake and happily ate that and danced to the Spanish pop songs, rocking back and forth and munching on cake. Most babies don't like cake so I just figured she was different than most babies and I'd have to find creative ways to get smiles from her. 

She's a beautiful baby. I also photographed her newborn session and she looked absolutely adorable in that as well! She had grown so much since I saw her last. In fact, she was one of the biggest one-year-olds that I've had in the studio. Her mom said she was in a size 18-24 months, the same as her two-year-old sister! 

We did a few shots of Ivanna and her siblings and several of the entire family as well. 

All in all, I am so happy with how everything turned out! I may have gotten milk all over my studio floor and had to clean everything quite detailed but it was worth it for these adorable photos!
