Jeana and Patrick's Surprise Engagement Session

Some moments in life feel like they were pulled straight from a movie, and Jeana and Patrick’s engagement was absolutely one of them.

Back in January, when Piedmont Park still had that warm, golden hint of late fall in the air and the trees were dressed in rich autumn colors, Patrick surprised Jeana with the most magical proposal. I’ve known Jeana since our college days, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen her smile so wide or look so completely in love. It was one of those moments where time seemed to pause, the colors of the season wrapping around them like a perfect backdrop to their love story.

Jeana has been doing amazing things in life. She’s built her own business, Sugly, where she sells beautiful, handcrafted soaps, lotions, and all kinds of homemade treasures. (If you’ve ever gotten one as a gift from me, you know they’re the kind of little luxuries you never forget.) Watching her pour so much heart and creativity into her business has been inspiring, and now seeing her find this kind of happiness in her personal life makes my heart so, so, so happy for her.

Patrick clearly adores her and from the sparkle in Jeana’s eyes, the feeling is mutual. I’m beyond excited to see what the next chapter of their love story brings. Here’s to many more beautiful surprises, laughter-filled adventures, and the happiest of ever afters for you two.
