King's Lion King Cake Smash - Suwanee, GA Photographer

Oh, my goodness, where do I even begin with this little lion cub? I recently had the absolute pleasure of capturing King's first birthday cake smash, and let me tell you, it was pure magic! His mama had a clear vision for a Lion King-themed extravaganza, and I was beyond excited to bring her dream to life.

From the moment I met King, I knew we were in for a treat. King was so cute and so shy. When I finally got him out of his shell, he was all smiles and giggles, and he had a serious case of the wiggles! We transformed my studio into the African savannah with a custom backdrop that I created. I mean, how could I resist those iconic Pride Rock cliffs and the golden sunset? To top it off, I hand-cut adorable cutouts of Simba, Zazu, Timon, and Pumba. I'm not going to lie, it was a labor of love, but seeing King’s face light up when he saw his favorite characters was totally worth it!

And then came the cake! Oh, the cake! Little King was initially a bit cautious, but once he got a taste of that sweet goodness, all bets were off. He was covered in frosting from head to toe. It was such a joy to capture these precious moments for his family.
