Layla Lou's Newborn Session

Little miss Layla Lou was the cutest tiny bundle of joy with a spirit as resilient as her story.

She rocked each pose I put her in, starting from the adorable spa pose. Does she not look the ABSOLUTE cutest in that fluffy pink robe with her Starbucks cup?!?

She did so, so well. Her mom wanted girly colors, pink and purple, so I obliged with various shades of pink and lavender. 

In the midst of celebrating Layla's arrival, we wanted to honor the memory of her twin brother, who had become a guardian angel watching over her. With deep respect for the family's journey, I created a poignant photograph featuring two beds – one cradling Layla Lou with a rainbow symbolizing her resilience as a rainbow baby and the other adorned with angel wings to honor her brother's memory.

It was a powerful and emotional tribute, symbolizing the duality of joy and loss. 

As I wrapped up the session, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for being entrusted with Layla Lou's story. Each photograph became a brushstroke in the canvas of her life, a reminder that even in the face of loss, love prevails. To Layla Lou and her family, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.
