Mason's Wrestling Senior Session at Lanier High School

Photographing Mason, a senior and remarkable young athlete from Lanier High School who has excelled in the fierce world of high school wrestling, was so much fun! Mason's senior session was a unique opportunity for us to celebrate his accomplishments and capture his spirit. 

Mason's journey to becoming a formidable wrestling athlete at Lanier High School is one filled with dedication and passion. His unwavering commitment to the sport has led to numerous medals and trophies. Mason's wrestling career served as the backdrop for his senior session, allowing us to tell his story through the lens.

To create a visually striking backdrop that symbolized Mason's wrestling journey, we chose Lanier High School's wrestling gym as our location. The gym, filled with the energy of countless matches, was the ideal setting to capture the essence of Mason's high school experience. The dimly lit, grungy atmosphere allowed us to capture the grit and determination that Mason has put into his sport. From close-ups of his wrestling shoes, medals, and headgear to intense shots of him in his singlet, every frame was a testament to his hard work and dedication.

His sweet mom helped out with every shot, offering advice, making him crack up, and even holding a plywood board behind him so we could get shots of him with the Longhorn symbol that his school is known for. 

Mason's senior session wasn't just about commemorating the past but also embracing the future. As he prepares to graduate and move on to the next chapter of his life, his senior session was a testament to the bright future that lies ahead.

I am grateful to have been a part of his story and to have the opportunity to celebrate his achievements. I wish Mason all the success and happiness as he continues his journey beyond high school!
