Mmesomachi's In-home Newborn Rainbow Themed Session

This beautiful rainbow baby was one of the sweetest babies I've had all year. A rainbow baby is a baby born after a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. This sweet child's sibling was a stillbirth at 34 weeks. It's a loss that no parent ever wants to experience. The term rainbow is a symbol of hope, healing, and light like a rainbow after a storm. 

The parents of this gorgeous little one were so proud of their tiny, strong baby and I could see the courage in the mother's face as she told me of her journey to motherhood. Not everyone is going to react well to a turbulent story and my heart goes out to all the mother's who have lost a child. The journey to motherhood is not always easy. Both parents were so happy and loving towards their little daughter. Little Ms. Mmesomachi was a sweet, quiet baby that slept most of the time and only stopped for a bottle which she downed so quickly that I thought she might want another but after burping her she settled down for a nap and let me pose her.
