Nolan's Newborn Session in Neutrals

Little Nolan came to me weighing in at only 4 lbs and 13 oz and 5 days before his due date. His mom said he was a feisty little fellow and she was worried she wouldn't be able to get cute photos of him as a baby because he was moving around so much but we did! He was a mover for sure and strong for his small size. I was impressed by how easily he kicked out of my wraps! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw the video I posted of me trying to soothe him back to sleep and him kicking his little foot out.

His mama requested neutral colors for his photo shoot so I used shades of brown, beige, and neutral blue to create a classic look for him.

This little guy had the sweetest features that made him absolutely irresistible! When I wrapped him, he was pretty calm and cooperative, sleeping through most of the session. Most parents tell me their baby hates being swaddled and I wrap them up like little potatoes and to their amazement, they fall into a deep sleep. Nolan would occasionally stir, but a gentle pat on his body and calming voice quickly eased him back to sleep.

His mama was already completely smitten with him and I could see why. His tiny fingers, button nose, and soft hair were all just so cute! I would add little bears, hearts, and a fuzzy little football for him to hold and his itty bitty hands would just wrap around them gently.

He was just the sweetest little thing and I hope mama really enjoys her photographs of him!
