A one-hour cake smash session is the perfect way to celebrate your little one’s first birthday and it’s as fun as it is adorable! I take care of all the details so you can relax and enjoy the moment. Your session includes a decorated setup with balloons and themed background décor, creating a bright, festive atmosphere that photographs beautifully. We start by letting your baby warm up to the camera with family photos and then we give them toys to play with, capturing natural smiles and curious expressions. Then, we’ll change things up and dress your little one in a sweet chef’s outfit, complete with child-sized cooking utensils and props they can play with or lean against for those early standing portraits. Once your baby is comfortable and having fun, it’s time for the main event: the cake smash! We’ll photograph all the reactions from tentative pokes to full-on giggles and frosting-covered hands. If time allows, we’ll finish the session with an optional milk bath filled with bubbles, which makes for the cutest, most heart-melting photos to wrap up the celebration. This cake smash experience is designed to be joyful, stress-free, and unforgettable, giving you a gallery full of sweet expressions and milestone moments to cherish for years to come.

Our two-hour cake smash session is a relaxed and joyful way to celebrate your little one’s first birthday. The extra time allows us to take things at your baby’s pace so the experience feels fun and easy for everyone. Your session includes a customized setup with balloons and background décor, creating a bright and festive scene that photographs beautifully. We begin by helping your baby feel comfortable in front of the camera, starting with simple toys to play with for sweet, natural expressions. Then we can transition into different looks, for example, dressing your little one in a darling chef outfit with small, child-sized cooking utensils and using props they can sit on or lean against as they explore. Because we have more time, we can pause for snack or bottle breaks whenever your little one needs it. This helps keep them happy and gives us the flexibility to do outfit changes for even more variety in your gallery. We’ll capture not only the main event, the cake smash, but also a range of sweet, candid moments along the way. With the added time, we can often include more family portraits as well, making the experience feel even more meaningful. If your baby is still in the mood for fun, we’ll wrap up with an optional bubble-filled milk bath, which is irresistibly cute and makes for some of the most cherished milestone images. The two-hour cake smash experience is designed to be stress-free, playful, and full of variety, giving you a beautifully rounded collection of milestone portraits that celebrate your baby’s big day.

Up to 5 people can join the session at no additional charge. Over 5 people is $25 per person. Pets can be included at no charge. 

I can do custom setups for an additional charge. My current setups are here. 

I do provide the decorations, props, outfits, cute hats, cake toppers, toys for baby to play with, etc. 

Cake is not provided for liability reasons. (Allergies, etc)

Additional digital images, wall art, and albums will be available for purchase. 

Suggestions available for outdoor locations. Outdoor sessions do not include a milk bath. (It is, unfortunately, too cumbersome to carry.)
