Aasiyah's Newborn Session

Welcome to the world baby Aasiyah! 

As a photographer, there are few joys greater than documenting the growth and milestones of families. I recently photographed gorgeous baby Aasiyah who looked so, so, so much like her sister, Aafiyah, who I had photographed less than a year prior!

Mama wanted similar setups that I had done previously so there are a lot of photos that look almost exactly the same. I giggled at the resemblance of the two girls! They look like exact twins born less than a year apart. What amazing genetics. I love working with this family. They are the most warm, inviting, kind, and hospitable family. They know what they want for the photos and it's easy to communicate with them.

I loved capturing the bond of their growing family and the two adorable sisters together. With these twin-like sisters, I wanted to emphasize their relationship while maintaining an individual focus. Whether it was through tender kisses, playful interactions, or synchronized movements, each photograph celebrated the magical connection they shared as sisters. The family's sister and cousin did a wonderful job getting one-year-old Aafiyah to smile! They sang songs, played with stuffies, and blew bubbles to get her to giggle and look at me. She did fantastic for the session!

Watching this sweet family grow has been so rewarding for me as a photographer. I look forward to capturing them again as the two sisters grow!
